Körber pursues ambitious climate targets

In October 2023, we had the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) verify our commitment to achieving net-zero CO₂e emissions throughout the entire value chain by 2040. We would like to introduce you to some of the measures that will help us achieve this ambitious goal.

Thomas Böck, Dirk Hoke, and Dr. Thomas Paulsen join the Supervisory Board of Körber AG

Thomas Böck, CEO of Festo SE, Dirk Hoke, Chairman of the Management Board of the Voith Group, and Dr. Thomas Paulsen, Chairman of the Executive Board of the Körber-Stiftung, have been appointed to the Supervisory Board of Körber AG as new shareholder representatives.

The Supervisory Board of Körber AG reconstituted itself at its Annual General Meeting on 24 April and appointed three new shareholder representatives to the supervisory body of the international technology group: Thomas Böck and Dirk Hoke will succeed Ralf Dieter, former CEO of Dürr AG, and Dr. Karl Lamprecht, CEO of Zeiss AG until April 2025.

Dr. Thomas Paulsen, Chairman of the Executive Board of the Körber-Stiftung since January 2025, has been appointed to the Supervisory Board to replace Dr. Lothar Dittmer, former Chairman of the Executive Board of the Körber-Stiftung, who has also left the Supervisory Board.

"On behalf of myself and the entire Supervisory Board of Körber AG, I would like to thank all three of them for their many years of commitment to Körber," said Richard Bauer, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Körber AG.

“With Thomas Böck and Dirk Hoke, two highly experienced and operationally active CEOs are joining the Supervisory Board of Körber AG. Both will provide valuable impetus for the future development of our company,” said Richard Bauer.

Thomas Böck, 54, has been CEO of Festo SE & Co. KG since the beginning of 2024. Festo is a global family-owned company with highly innovative solutions for automation and digitalisation. Previously, the electrical engineer was CEO of CLAAS KGaA and held senior management positions at Kässbohrer Geländefahrzeug and AGCO Corporation.

Dirk Hoke, 56, has been President and CEO of Voith GmbH & Co. KGaA, a global technology group. During his 30-year international career, Hoke has held executive positions in the aviation, automotive and technology industries, including Airbus, Renault and Siemens, with a strong focus on digitalisation.
