»IT'S TISSUE« – The Technology Trade Show of the Italian Tissue Industry

The network has set itself the goal of strengthening the image and brand awareness of this industry sector which is so important to Tuscany and Italy as a whole, and which stands worldwide for leading-edge technology made in Italy.
The twelve suppliers of machines and services for the tissue industry, with a total of 1,500 employees, generate sales of over 500 million euros and have an export rate of 90%. The manufacturers want to create awareness at the international level of their expertise, innovative ability and their aspiration to excellence, as well as increasing their competitiveness. Increasingly, the companies would like to develop into a hub for the global tissue market.

The Körber company Fabio Perini is based in Lucca, Italy and offers system solutions for the tissue processing industry. The company is the world's leading supplier of innovative system solutions for all production processes – from cutting to processing and packaging of fine papers and cardboard, as well as manufacturing roll, folding and hygienic products.
The latest innovation from Perini is a new solution to a familiar problem that has been affecting the industry for years: a small adhesive strip at the end of paper towel and toilet paper rolls, without which packaging and warehousing would be impossible. Fabio Perini has now achieved a breakthrough in the Tail Sealer 563: Using a novel technology, the machine can seal the free end of the paper roll without using adhesive – for augmented process reliability, lower unit costs and improved machine availability.
