Körber pursues ambitious climate targets

Körber AG acquires Qubiqa Logistics

Qubiqa Logistics, based in Arden in northern Denmark, is a leading provider of depalletizing solutions. With around 90 employees the company mainly services customers from the food and beverage industry as well as the grocery sector. The range the company offers encompasses products, systems and services for realizing fully automated material handling and order picking plants. With its so-called Layer Picker® Qubiqa Logistics has the globally leading product in the layer depalletizing sector.
"We are delighted to welcome the Qubiqa Logistics team to our Group", says Stephan Seifert, Vice Chairman of the Executive Board of Körber AG. "The company strengthens our long-term course towards internationalization and growth."

Körber AG is taking over 100 percent of the stakes in Qubiqa Logistics from the Danish holding company BWB Partners. Both parties agreed not to disclose details of the purchase price.

Qubiqa Logistics ist ein führender Anbieter von Depalletierlösungen mit Sitz in Arden, Dänemark. Mit rund 90 Mitarbeitern bedient das Unternehmen überwiegend Kunden aus der Nahrungs- und Genussmittelindustrie sowie dem Handel. Das Angebotsspektrum umfasst Produkte, Systeme und Services zur Realisierung vollautomatischer Materialfluss- und Kommissionieranlagen. Mit dem sogenannten Layer Picker® verfügt Qubiqa Logistics dabei über das weltweit führende Produkt in der Lagendepalettiertechnik.

Die Körber AG übernimmt 100 Prozent der Anteile an Qubiqa Logistics von der dänischen Beteiligungsgesellschaft BWB Partners. Über die Höhe des Kaufpreises wurde Stillschweigen vereinbart.
