Körber pursues ambitious climate targets

In October 2023, we had the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) verify our commitment to achieving net-zero CO₂e emissions throughout the entire value chain by 2040. We would like to introduce you to some of the measures that will help us achieve this ambitious goal.

Change in the Executive Board of Körber AG

Michael Horn will leave the Körber Group as of April 30, 2018. He will become a Member of the Executive Board at DMG MORI AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT, a leading global manufacturer of machine tools from mid-May. 


Michael Horn joined Körber in 2007. He started as Managing Director at Studer. Before being appointed to the Körber Group Executive Board, he was COO at United Grinding AG, the management company of Körber’s Business Area Machine Tools.


Richard Bauer, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Körber AG, commented: "We very much regret Mr. Horn's decision, but fully accept it. On behalf of the entire Supervisory Board, I would like to thank him for his commitment to the Group over many years and especially during his time on the Group Executive Board. We wish him all the best for his professional and private future.

Michael Horn wird den Konzern zum 30. April 2018 verlassen und ab Mitte Mai Vorstandsmitglied bei der DMG MORI AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT, einem weltweit führenden Hersteller von Werkzeugmaschinen.


Michael Horn ist seit 2007 im Körber-Konzern tätig. Er startete im Geschäftsfeld Werkzeugmaschinen als Geschäftsführer bei Studer und war vor seiner Berufung in den Konzernvorstand COO bei der United Grinding AG, der Führungsgesellschaft des Geschäftsfeldes Werkzeugmaschinen.


Richard Bauer, Aufsichtsratsvorsitzender der Körber AG, dazu: „Wir bedauern die Entscheidung von Herrn Horn außerordentlich, akzeptieren diese aber vollumfänglich. Im Namen des gesamten Aufsichtsrats danke ich ihm für sein Engagement für den Konzern in den zurückliegenden Jahren – insbesondere auch in seiner Zeit im Konzernvorstand. Für seine berufliche und private Zukunft wünschen wir ihm alles Gute."
