Aberle GmbH again nominated for the German Medium-sized Company Award
"We are very pleased about the nomination," says Aberle managing director Andreas Ebert. "To us, it's an acknowledgement of our hard work and a motivation to continue to consistenly pursue our company goals in terms of job security, innovation and regional involvement."
Companies nominated for the "Medium-sized Company Award" are put forward by more than 1,400 municipalities, institutions, chambers of commerce or industry and associations from all 16 German states and competition regions. Twelve regional juries and a final jury ultimately choose the winner. The award is conferred on three companies per competition region each autumn. Another five companies are given finalist status. Overall, more than 4,000 companies are in the running – including Aberle and another 531 medium-sized companies from Baden-Württemberg.
"Simply being nominated for an award gives companies public recognition that they are among the elite of Germany's business community," says Dr. Helfried Schmidt, Chairman of the Oskar-Patzelt Foundation. "It gives companies a distinguishing feature."
Winners from the Baden-Württemberg competition region will be announced on October 5, 2013 at a gala celebration in Würzburg.
